ABOUT ME – Jimeet Pawaskar Photography

Expressions of light and shadows. Of black and white. Of negative and positive. And of images and imagery.

All through my childhood and youth, I have looked at paints and brushes to express what words could not. At The Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Arts, Mumbai, I decided to use light to paint images. Thus I embarked on my journey as a photographer. And after graduation, the thirst in me to deepen the knowledge of various aspects of photography and the nuances of its aesthetics, led me to enroll myself at The Light and Life Academy.

I am open to experimental photography and about working in any genre of commercial photography, on both national and international projects. With my cohesive team of professionals, I provide both pre-production and post-production services to ensure that the end product is a piece of work that I can be proud of. I have been working in Mumbai as a photographer since 2008.

Though inspired by many photographers and cinematographers alike, I have worked at creating my own idiom; in subjects ranging from product and fashion, to people and nature. My passion of travelling has also added many hues to my work.
